Fair usage policy

Rent plans don't put a hard limit on how many calls or texts your automation handles in a normal month. A busy salon, a restaurant during a rush, a contractor after a storm — normal spikes in your real business activity are exactly what this is built for. You will never get an unexpected overage bill because your business had a good month.
It means volume that's genuinely coming from your business operating as described when you signed up — real customers, real missed calls, real appointment reminders. It does not cover:
We don't auto-suspend or silently throttle anything. If something looks like an outlier — good or bad — we'll email you first, tell you exactly what we're seeing, and ask what's going on. Most of the time it's just a genuinely busy month, and nothing changes. In the rare case it's clear misuse (spam, resale, bot traffic), we'll work with you to fix it before considering pausing the account.
Text and voice messages run through carrier networks (like Twilio) that have their own rules — for example, U.S. carriers require registered business identity for text campaigns (A2P 10DLC) and prohibit unsolicited spam under the TCPA. This policy exists to keep your number in good standing with carriers, not to quietly limit what we already promise you.
If you already know your business runs at unusually high volume — multiple locations, a call center, a very high-traffic operation — email us before you sign up at [email protected] and we'll tell you plainly whether the standard plan fits or whether something custom makes more sense.
